Fleetwood Town will host Preston North End on their Highbury Stadium in Fleetwood. This is only match of League One and I hope that I will present it to you well.
Fleetwood Town is 12th positioned team and their playoff aspirations are low, impossible I would say, but this match is played today because of competitivness of this game. Both Gaffers told that this is a big game. Fleetwood Towns ratio is 14-10-14 and they can be happy because last season they played in League Two so this season aspirations were staying in the League. Fleetwood Town is a type of team which plays hot-cold and you never know with them. Three games ago you see them won against Rochdale 1-0 and next match they lose 0-2 against Coventry. One thing where Fleetwood is good, is playing against stronger opponents, teams from top of the table. Every top-tabled team has burned some skin against Fleetwood. Im just going to list them: Bristol City(3-3), Sheffield Utd(1-1), Swindon(1-1), Peterbrough(1-1). So you can se in every match they managed to score and that is not problem for them. They are better at thier home turf where they have ratio 7-8-4 with goal difference of 21:20. So they score at home, but there is lack of defence and in 19 matches at home 20 is a bit too much. Total goal ratio is 39:43. They are entering in this match after a drew against Bradford away, which is good for them. They were down 2-0, but in 86' Proctor and 90'+ Pond scored goals for Fleetwood and that brought them very big 1 point.
On the other side we have mighty Preston North End, or Lillywhites whatever you want. They are impressive last two montsh. They don't know for a defeat last 10 matches in League One with a impressive goal difference of 22:4. Defence+Attack is working great. Their aspirations are direct promotion to Championship, where I would like to see them, and they could show some good games. Preston is a classic home turf team where they have ratio 11-7-1 alomost like Bristol City, but for away games story is a bit different. 10-3-5 away is not so impressive for 2nd ranked team in the League. But there is a good thing about away fixtures, they conceded only 14 goals so attacking home, and defensive away is working preety good for Simon Grayson.“Fleetwood have had a good season. Like teams that have been promoted in previous seasons, they have carried the momentum forward, had a winning mentality and Chesterfield, Rochdale and Fleetwood all have a great chance of getting into the Play-Offs.'' You can see that in this statement Simon is full of respect for teams like Fleetwood and he knows how tough these matches can be.
Surley Preston is impressive last few weeks but this is big-game for Fleetwood town and they want to prove themselves to the others. Because this is only match of the day we are going with this option. Bet: BTTS & Over 2,5 – YES @ 2.61
