NBA handicap bets – Tuesday March 11th
Our NBA betting analyst previews the Tuesday night action in the NBA and gives us his betting tips from the best basketball league of the world.
Last night we found success in one game prediction. The Denver Nuggets fell to the Charlotte Bobcats on the road, the New York Knicks beat the 76ers, but as expected, they couldn’t overcome the very big 15.5 point spread. Finally, the Bucks achieved a victory against the Orlando Magic.
Portland Trail Blazers @ Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies have managed to climb to the eighth seed in the Western Conference. Of course, Memphis was expected to raise to a spot within the playoffs and they just needed some time to achieve that. On Tuesday night they will host the Portland Trail Blazers, who have now fallen to the fifth seed in the West. The Blazers have lost their last two games while the Grizzlies have won their last two games. I predict that in this game, the Grizzlies will escape with a victory. Memphis has a point spread of -3.5 but I think it will be able to overcome it.
Verdict: Grizzlies -3.5
Houston Rockets @ Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder have just recently fallen to the second seed in the Western Conference, after dominating the first seed for several weeks. OKC has dropped its last two games and I predict that they will do no better against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. The Rockets are in a perfect shape, surging during the last week, when they’ve won five consecutive games. James Harden is extremely productive while on the other hand, Kevin Durant is not as dominant as he was prior to Russell Westbrook’s comeback. I think that you should trust the Rockets in this matchup.
Verdict: Rockets +4.0
San Antonio Spurs @ Chicago Bulls
The San Antonio Spurs currently lie at the top spot in the West. After trailing to the Thunder for a long time, they finally took advantage of the Thunder’s mistakes and took the lead. On the other hand, the Chicago Bulls have also been playing tremendously well this season. Chicago just recently topped the defending champions, Miami Heat. This game has no obvious winner, although the Spurs are a better team, in general. I like the Spurs on the point spread of -5. You can go should them.
Verdict: Spurs -5.0
