NBA handicap bets – Saturday March 8th
Our NBA betting expert previews the Saturday night action in the NBA and has point spread picks across three games.
Last night we won two out of our three game predictions. The Charlotte Bobcats and the Toronto Raptors rolled past the Kings and the Cavaliers respectively. The game was lost was the Portland Trail Blazers – Dallas Mavericks, where the Blazers lost by 5 points, two more than the point spread.
Atlanta Hawks @ Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers have been recording a superb season up to now. In fact, as of lately, the Clips have significantly uplifted their performance. A couple of days ago, they recorded the biggest-margin victory in their franchise history, routing the Los Angeles Lakers by 48 points. On Saturday night they will host the Atlanta Hawks. Although the Hawks have been also playing well up to now and they are within the playoff race, they are nowhere near as good as the Clips. LA holds the obvious advantage in this game and I believe that they will win, overcoming the point spread of 13.5
Verdict: Clippers -13.5
Washington Wizards @ Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Washington Wizards on Saturday night. Washington is the obvious favorite in this game. However, the Bucks sometimes surprise with their outbursts. Still, in this game, John Wall and his company should be expected to win. I like the Wizards on the point spread of -8.5 and I believe that you should trust them in this game. Washington is chasing a better seed in the East while the Bucks have really no interest any more to do better in the season. The Wizards are the strongest favorites.
Verdict: Wizards -5.5
New York Knicks @ Cleveland Cavaliers
The Cleveland Cavaliers will match up against the New York Knicks on Saturday night. Both teams have been struggling badly this season. Both teams are below the playoff seeds but they will try hard to get the ticket during the one month that remains till the start of the postseason. The Knicks have won their last two games while Cleveland lost its last three. The Knicks also have a 2-point advantage in this game and so I believe that they are the ones who you should trust. I just don’t see how Cleveland will be able to top the Knicks in this game and the home court advantage won’t help them much.
Verdict: Knicks +2.0
